Quiet Waters is a Christian devotional application developed and operated by Stolay, LLC. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about the information used to provide the Quiet Waters experience.
Quiet Waters may collect or process limited information when you use certain features of the app.
If you create or use a Quiet Waters account, we may process information associated with your account, such as your email address and a unique user identifier.
Quiet Waters may also allow you to sign in using third-party authentication services, including Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In. These services may provide Quiet Waters with limited account information necessary to authenticate you.
Quiet Waters allows you to save favorite devotionals and application preferences. When you are signed in, certain favorites and preferences may be synchronized using cloud services so they can remain associated with your account and be available across supported devices.
When you use the Quiet Waters Scripture question-and-answer features, the question or text you submit is transmitted to our service so that a Scripture-based response can be generated and returned to the app.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the question-and-answer feature.

Quiet Waters uses third-party technology providers to provide certain features and infrastructure. These may include services provided by Google/Firebase and Apple, including authentication and cloud-based application services.
These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and are subject to their respective privacy policies.
Quiet Waters does not sell your personal information.
Quiet Waters does not use your personal information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising, and Quiet Waters does not share your personal information with data brokers.
Some Quiet Waters information and preferences may be stored locally on your device. Information stored only on your device is not transmitted to Stolay, LLC unless a feature requires synchronization or communication with an online service.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the applicable Quiet Waters services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Quiet Waters provides users with the ability to delete their account. When an account deletion request is completed, information associated with the account will be deleted or disassociated as appropriate, subject to information we may be required to retain for legitimate legal, security, or operational purposes.
Quiet Waters is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us inappropriately, please contact us so that we can review and address the matter.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information processed through Quiet Waters. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You may choose not to create an account and may choose not to use features that require information to be transmitted to online services, subject to the functionality available without those services.
We may update this Privacy Policy as Quiet Waters changes or as necessary to comply with applicable requirements. When the policy is updated, the effective date shown at the top of this page will also be updated.
